Caribbean Aviation Maintenance Services Ltd. was established as
Caribbean Helicopters Ltd in 1991, offering maintenance for its sister
company, Trans Guyana Airways Ltd. In 1995, the company was
expanded to form Guyana’s premier GAR 145 Approved Aircraft
Maintenance organization, catering for all maintenance needs for both
unpressurized and pressurized aircrafts up to 12,500 lbs MTWA, its staff
comprising nineteen internationally licensed engineers with CAA/UK
standards, the highest within the Caribbean for maintenance of this type
of planes.
